I was so pleased to announce the   Lee Westwood Golf  Academy, which took place at nine different venues throughout the UK the summer 2009 and it was so successful that we did it again in summer 2010.  These were three-day academies ranging from beginners to would-be mini-me's ( for boys and girls from 7 - 16 years of age), where you could improve your golf and have a lot of fun. 

I teamed up with Activate Sport, who hosted the academies at Addington Court Golf Centre, Croydon;  Blue Mountain Golf Club, Binfield in Berkshire; Brampton Heath Golf Club, Northamptonshire;  Chesfield Downs GC, nr Stevenage:  Elton Furze GC, nr Peterborough;  High Leigh Park CC, Knutsford;   Morley Hayes GC in Derbyshire;  Rudding Park GC, Harrogate;  The Bristol GC,  Almondsbury and the "Winner's Day" at Lindrick GC, near my home town of Worksop.
